Food

The gulai pucuk paku masak lemak (native fiddlehead ferns in coconut milk) is a refreshing dish, featuring fresh local ferns with a crisp crunch. A testament to their cooking prowess is not overcooking the ferns, complemented by creamy coconut milk that leaves a lingering, rich aftertaste.

The tauhu telur looks like an erect volcano surrounded by shredded egg “lava,”, and it packs a mighty punch in texture and flavors. Sink your teeth into a crunchy outer layer while savoring the delightful tender layers inside comprising an amalgamation of egg tofu and egg. For me, this was the piece the resistance!

The Dancing Fried Fish in Curry was so good. With a tinge of spice, sourness, and sweetness, the crunchy texture melts into indigenous flavors that are mind-blowing!

The BBQ beef ribs were flamed-grilled to perfection, boasting smoky undertones that taste best with its unique dipping.

Satisfying grilled prawns with robust flavors coaxed out through its slow, cooking process.

With robust flavors coaxed out through its slow, grilling process, the grilled prawns and satay deserve a shout-out. Exuding hints of char and secret marinade sauce, these dishes were devoured in minutes!

The allure of their psychedelic-colored drinks is too hard to resist! Served in glass beakers that showcase its content and vibrancy to the fullest, their concoction features a medley of zesty fruits and traditional herbs that blend like heaven!

The Kedondong, synonymous with Indonesian culture, is a thirst-quenching drink not to be missed. This plum beverage captures the essence of a hybrid guava and salted plum drink, making it truly unique and enjoyable.

Pricing

Given its Michelin-rated status and huge servings, expect to pay slightly above RM100 for a meal for two. Nevertheless, the good quality food, impeccable service, and unique cooking styles justify its pricing.
